Visit the artist's Wikipedia entry Throughout the 1960s and 70s Bergner's work was shown in Israel, as well as in New York, such as in the landmark Jewish Museum exhibition, "Jewish Experience in the Art of the Twentieth Century" (1975). He has also been featured in exhibitions in Paris, London, Melbourne and Sidney, including two Australian retrospectives (1985, 1993). In 1990 he was included in "Chagall to Kitaj: Jewish Experience in Twentieth Century Art" at the Barbican Art Gallery, London. |
